About Us

Established in 2016, Birds of Paradise introduced the world's first botanical gelato boutique, creating high-quality gelato that celebrates the botanicals of South East Asia. Our aspiration is to share the exotic and exquisite flavours of our region with the world, starting with our iconic creations of White Chrysanthemum gelato and Lychee Raspberry gelato.

We mindfully select each ingredient to ensure it embodies our dedication to authenticity and balance. We infuse real botanicals into our gelato - eschewing time-saving bottled flavourings, essences and colourings - to extract authentic flavours and aromas into exquisite experiences.

Our Approach

We take long trips with our imagination to create our very own range of signature flavours made with premium ingredients.

We flavour our gelato using natural and botanical ingredients: fruits, flowers, pods, herbs and spices.

We take time to gently infuse herbs and spices into our gelato to create exquisite experiences.

We pay homage to our region by taking culinary cues from our South East Asian palate
