Orders & Refunds

There is no minimum order to make an online purchase. For large orders (15 pints or more), we welcome you to contact us at orders@birdsofparadise.sg at least 5 working days in advance.

You are able to select your delivery date to be as far as 7 days from your order date. Which means you can make an order up to 7 days in advance.

Unless it is an event or a large order, we are unable to take advance orders of more than 7 days as our gelato is made fresh daily and subject to available ingredients.

You should receive an email confirmation from Birds of Paradise immediately after successfully placing your order. If you did not receive an email from us, kindly check your promotions or spam folder, otherwise, please contact us at orders@birdsofparadise.sg and we will be happy to assist you. 

Cancellations cannot be made once the order is submitted. If you require urgent amendments, please contact us atorders@birdsofparadise.sgand we will do our best for orders that have not yet been processed.

Our gelato is delivered with freezing agents and tested to arrive frozen. Upon delivery, please store the gelato in the freezer for at least 30-45 minutes before serving.

If you received the wrong order/ items, we will arrange a redelivery as soon as we can. Kindly send us an email on the day of delivery at orders@birdsofparadise.sg with an accompanying photo of the wrong order/item received.

If the gelato is damaged at the point of delivery, please inform us via email at orders@birdsofparadise.sg with an accompanying video or photo and we will arrange a replacement or a refund.

A refund will take up to 10 working days to be credited back to the customer.

For large orders of 15 pints or more as well as event orders, please fill in the Event Enquiry Form on our Events page and we will get in touch with you. Kindly take note that depending on the order quantity, we require at least 5-10 working days to prepare your order. For weddings and large events with 100 guests or more, we recommend that you write to us at least 1-2 months before your event.
For corporate gifting enquiries, we welcome you to email us at orders@birdsofparadise.sg and we will respond to you as soon as we can. 

If you would like to order for delivery to multiple locations, kindly place each order and check out individually. If it is a large order for gifting, please contact us at orders@birdsofparadise.sg and we will be happy to assist you. 

Our gelato sets are specially curated based on our best sellers and are perfect for gifting. Alternatively, you may select your desired flavours in the a la carte section and choose to check out as a gift with a gift message. You may select next-day delivery if you place an order before 4pm. Kindly take note that there are no deliveries on Sundays and Public Holidays.

We encourage you to choose a delivery date and time window where someone is present for the entire duration to receive the gelato. If that is not possible, you may enter your request under Special Instructions on the check out page, or contact us at orders@birdsofparadise.sg and we will try our best to fulfil your request. Do note that additional delivery fees may apply.

Kindly note that delivery address, date and time selected upon checkout are final. Please check that the recipient will be present during the entire time window before placing your order to ensure that the gelato will be received successfully. Kindly check the shipping details are correct and have someone present at the delivery location to receive the gelato. If no one is present at the time of delivery, our driver will give you a call to leave the package with a neighbour or at the door. If the customer remains uncontactable, an admin & logistic fee of $18 will apply for a re-delivery. The same products packed for the customer will be re-delivered at an agreed date and time window, subject to availability, and we cannot guarantee the condition of the products. 

Yes, you may select the store collection option on the check out page and select the boutique from which you would like to collect your order.

As long as Store Collection is selected, we will be preparing your order for collection in store on your selected fulfilment date and time. There is no need for you to change the shipping address as long as you are aware that you will have to collect your order from the store and that your order will not be delivered to you. If in doubt, feel free to reach out to us at orders@birdsofparadise.sg

Yes, our range of sorbets are dairy-free. We invite you to explore our sorbets - Coconut Sorbet, Dark Chocolate Sorbet, Mango Sorbet and Peach & Rose Sorbet.

Storage & Consumption

As our gelato is made fresh, for best quality we recommend consuming the gelato within a week of opening or within a month if unopened.

We recommend keeping the cone chips in an airtight container once the packet is opened, and consuming it within a week for best quality.

Please store the gelato in the freezer immediately after you receive it for at least 30-45 minutes, prior to serving. If the gelato had been left out for a while, please keep it in the freezer for at least 45 minutes to 1 hour before enjoying it.

Please keep the gelato in the freezer within 40 min upon collection as our gelato can last about 30-40 min in our insulated packaging outside, away from direct sun.

Events & Corporate Gifts

As order requests and logistic requirements may vary, kindly fill in the Event Enquiry Form on our Events page and we will get in touch with you with the prices according to your request. Kindly take note that depending on the order quantity, we will require at least 5-10 working days to prepare your order. For weddings and large events with 100 guests or more, we recommend that you write to us at least 1-2 months before your event.

Birds of Paradise offers gelato party cups that can be served at weddings, birthdays, corporate events, office or house parties. Each party cup serves one person and these cups are prepared for consumption within 1 hour after delivery if not kept immediately in the freezer. Wooden spoons will be provided. For multi day events, you may rent our BoP cart freezer to store your party cups.
We also offer gelato pints for personal or corporate gifting, and each pint serves 4 to 6 scoops. For best quality, it is recommended to consume the gelato within 1 week of opening, or within a month if unopened.

Sustainability

To reduce the use of single-use plastic bags, we encourage you to bring your own cooler bag for pint purchases. We charge a Green Fee ($0.5) for additional bags or cups required at the boutique. We also make available a reusable Birds of Paradise cooler bag for $5 which can be purchased online or at our boutiques. 100% of sales of this cooler bag goes towards EQUAL, while proceeds from the Green Fee are donated to Zero Waste SG.

At our boutiques, we serve our gelato with wooden spoons and in sustainable cups made from sugarcane pulp.

Online Gift Card

The Online Gift Card can only be redeemed online at www.birdsofparadise.sg. It cannot be redeemed in our physical boutiques.

The Online Gift Card has a validity of 6 months from the date of purchase and it will be reflected in the  email you received with the gift card.

You may check the balance and expiry date of your Online Gift Card through the email you received with the gift card. Click on ‘View online gift card code’ in the email to check the balance and expiry date of your online gift card.

Click on ‘View online gift card code’ in the email to view  your online gift card code, balance and expiry date. You may search for ‘Birds of Paradise Online Gift Card’ in your email inbox to retrieve the email if you have difficulties locating it.

You may use the Birds of Paradise Online Gift Card on the online boutique. In the email with the gift card, click on 'View gift card' to view the gift card code. Copy and paste the code in the discount code field on the checkout page to enjoy the gift.

Yes. A customer can redeem another digital gift card during checkout. On the checkout page, simply enter the first digital gift card code in the discount code field and click ‘apply’, then enter the next digital gift card code in the same field and click ‘apply’.

No, you cannot use the online gift card to buy another online gift card.

Yes, online gift cards are applied to the final order total which includes delivery fee (if applicable) and taxes.

We sell gift cards that can be used on our online boutique. We are sorry that we do not sell gift vouchers for use in our physical boutiques at the moment.
